This program file is located in (C:\Windows\System32) path.
It’s name in Task Manager is COM Surrogate
It seems that this exe file is responsible for allowing us to manage Windows Network Devices but also is related to System Restore and Scan Disk UI and other window related stuff, which are essential to manage even some properties, after testing by deleting it, of course first archiving it for a copy, everything went back to normal, to restore back this functionality, place back a copy of this exe program to the mentioned folder/file path.
So if you face that you can’t Enable/Disable Network Adapters from Network Connections and view adapter properties, or even manage Sharing Options from Settings > Network & Internet, it is a rare case that dllhost.exe is missing.
If you not have a copy, here is one from my PC scanned with Antivirus!
